Alumni

The Whitgift Foundation and the schools, Old Palace of John Whitgift, Trinity and Whitgift, wish to hear from former students as part of an initiative to involve more closely all those who were educated at the schools. The aims are:

  • To strengthen the alumni organisations and support them in developing closer and more relevant relationships with greater numbers of alumni.
  • To renew contact with those alumni who are no longer in touch with either their former school or their alumni organisation.
  • To arrange relevant, and appropriately targeted, events and receptions in a long-term, well-publicised programme in conjunction with the OWA, TMWA and OPOGA.
  • To encourage alumni to visit their former school with their spouses/partners and families.
  • To encourage the pro-active support of former pupils in the future development and plans of the schools and The Whitgift Foundation.

Reunions, receptions and other events

In order to develop closer relationships with former students of the three Foundation schools, Old Palace of John Whitgift, Trinity and Whitgift, all forthcoming alumni occasions will be published here, by school.

Working closely with the schools and alumni organisations (OPOGA, TMWA and OWA) we are keen to hear about events that you too may wish to host.

  • Can we help you get in touch with others in your year?
  • Do you have a group that has stayed close and wishes to have a reunion at school?
  • Have you an idea for an event?

We will be delighted to discuss ideas with you at any time. Please contact us.

The 'Stay in Touch' campaign

The 'Stay in Touch' campaign is setting out to strengthen and re-establish contact with former students in this country and world-wide. It has got off to a terrific start and online registration is now available to everyone.

Calling all overseas alumni

Where are you now? The schools and alumni organisations are in touch with a good number of former students living and working all over the world but, inevitably, there are always some with whom we have lost touch.

Please let us know what you are doing and where you are by any of the contact methods below. We are already planning events in Canada, New York, the Far East and Middle East for 2010 and would welcome any news and contacts.
