New Headmaster at Whitgift School starts the academic year with a personal touch.

With the first couple of weeks into the new academic year, new Headmaster of Whitgift School, Mr Christopher Ramsey, has settled in well with many opportunities to meet personally with students and staff. His experience at the leading UK day and boarding independent school for boys in Croydon is well documented in his regularly updated Headmaster’s blog.

Mr Ramsey took up his appointment at Whitgift on 1 September 2017, having completed his successful Headship at King’s College, Taunton, in 2002 and The King’s School, Chester, in 2007.

On his appointment, Mr Ramsey said: “It is an enormous privilege to have been appointed to succeed Christopher Barnett at Whitgift. Everything I have learned about the School and Foundation has excited me and I am greatly looking forward to getting to know all the different constituencies of this very wide community in due course”.
