Wilhelmina House

Wilhelmina House was opened in 1984 as a purpose-built residential home. It provides accommodation for 20 residents. Each resident has a private bed-sitting room with separate washing and toilet facilities.

Wilhelmina House provides a sheltered environment for elderly men and women who no longer wish to live independently and appreciate the care and assistance which can more adequately be provided in a residential home.

It should be emphasised however, that it is not a nursing home and is primarily intended for fit people in reasonably good health. Residents requiring assistance with bathing etc. are given such help as they need whilst encouraging them to be as independent as possible.
