Carers Support Centre gears up for Carers Rights Day on Friday 29 November.
This year the theme for the national awareness day is ‘Rights, Advice, Support’ and the focus will be on ensuring that carers in Croydon understand their rights and can get access to good quality advice that can support them to care.
Carers are invited to come along on the day to the Carers Support Centre between 10:00am and 4:00pm to find out more about the support that is available to them.
Then, the following week, The Carers Support Centre will be offering drop-in sessions run by local organisations on particular topics relating to the theme of ‘Rights, Advice, Support’. If you are a carer you are more than welcome to come to any session you feel would be help you in your caring role. Whatever your caring situation, we would love to meet you!
