Opportunity for voluntary organisation to rent office space in a dedicated carer venue.

Our Carers Support Centre in the heart of Croydon is looking for a voluntary organisation to rent a vacant office in a dedicated hub for carers - at highly competitive rates.

Located at 24 George Street, offices in the upper floors of the building are currently occupied by 10 other organisations such as Croydon Mencap, Young Carers Project and Crossraods Care, forming a vibrant and friendly ‘one stop shop’ for carers.

The available space can be let as either one large office (£12,000 pa), or two smaller offices (£6,000 pa each). Included within the licence fee are all service charges (cleaning, heat and light, wi-fi), plus cupboards, pedestals, desks, chairs and telephones - only additional cost to licence holders are telephone charges and photocopying.

The Carers Support Centre recently celebrated its first year of opening with over 16,000 queries from carers, a Carers Cafe and a wide-ranging programme of activities from advice surgeries to wellbeing checks and even dance classes.

It is easily accessible by public transport - the Centre is opposite George Street tram stop and on many bus routes as well as only a short walk from both West and East Croydon station.

In addition, there is a range of bright and airy rooms available to hire during the daytime. Room sizes vary from a two person consultation room, to a large meeting room capable of holding over 50 people. All rooms have air conditioning and wi-fi and, except the first floor mezzanine room, are fully accessible. Use of data projector and flip chart can be arranged at no extra charge, and refreshments are also provided.
