Old Palace awarded by Trinity College London.

We’re proud to announce that Old Palace has been awarded Arts Award Good Practice Centre status by Trinity College London.

Trinity College were impressed by the strong application and delivery of the Arts Award across the school age range.

Old Palace, who is one of the first few centres in the country to be running Arts Award at all the available levels, will now be featured as a good practice model case study on Trinity’s Arts Award website.

This week, Old Palace’s Bronze and Silver students (all 43 of them) had the opportunity to take part in a professional photography shoot organised by Trinity College London to gather images for their website and to use on their promotional materials. Ms Lunghi, Head of Dance & Creative Movement, will also be organising an event to share Old Palace’s good practice with other centres running the award within the region and has been asked to present at conferences during this academic year.

Furthermore Old Palace Old Palace has been selected to be one of the first schools in the country to use ‘artsbox’, the new digital tool to support young people working towards Arts Award.

The Arts Award looks to support young people who want to deepen their engagement with the arts, build creative and leadership skills, and to achieve a national qualification. You can find out more here.

This award comes after a great deal of hard work from all at Old Palace, well done to all involved!
