Old Palace pupil wins national Mighty Nose poetry competition.
The Preparatory School was thrilled to learn that Amber, one of its pupils in Year 4, has won first prize in the Years 3 & 4 category of the national Mighty Nose Awards 2018 for her poem ‘The Giant Blue Nosed Explorer’. She received a book token for £50, an engraved cup and a certificate.
In addition, Anjelea from Year 3 was highly commended in the Years 3 & 4 category for her poem ‘Summer Smells’. She received a certificate and a book token for £25.
Tim Horton, Head of Prep, congratulated the two girls on their achievements, saying: “We are so proud of Amber and Anjelea and their winning entries, both of which were outstanding.”
