Year 11 students at Foundation Schools celebrate an outstanding set of GCSE results.

Hot on the heels of our school leavers' fantastic results, our Year 11 students have yet again surpassed all expectations by achieving an excellent set of record  GCSE results across Whitgift, Trinity and Old Palace Schools.

Record-breaking GCSE Success at Whitgift!

Congratulations to all the Whitgift Fifth Form students who received their results on Thursday 20 August.Following on from the exceptional performance by Whitgift Sixth Formers last week, the Fifth Form students are celebrating a record-breaking set of results at GCSE and IGCSE.  These results are our best ever at GCSE and improve on our record results from last year.

40 boys in all achieved 10 or 11 A*s, of which 20 students obtained straight A*s in all of their subjects.  Across all GCSEs, an outstanding 56% of grades achieved were at A*.  This was truly a case of success throughout the year group, with 87% of all grades at either A or A*, and 83 boys achieved an A or an A* in every one of their subjects; a remarkable performance. The majority of subjects are now examined through the rigorous IGCSE papers, and with many students taking at least 10 GCSEs, these results really highlight the all-round ability of our boys.

The Headmaster and the staff at Whitgift would like to congratulate all boys on their fantastic results, which are a testament to their hard-work and dedication.  Well done!
