Four awards given to Trinity students in under 17 and over 17 categories.

Talented pupils from Trinity School won four awards presented at the Rotary Club of South Croydon's Photography Competition Awards Ceremony on 8th May in the presence of the Mayor of Croydon.

Trinity School winners were as follows:

  • Over 17 Category - Overall Winner: Elisha Wilson (Upper Sixth)
  • Over 17 Category - People's Choice Winner: Elisha Wilson (Upper Sixth)
  • Under 17 Category - Overall Winner: Joshua Kenney (Year 7)
  • Under 17 Category - People's Choice Winner: Robin Boardman (Year 11)

The pupils all study Photography at Trinity School and were encouraged by their teachers to enter the competition. Elisha and Joshua both win a day’s photo shoot with a professional photographer with Elisha and Robin receiving vouchers.

Joshua Kenney, aged 12, said: "I am very surprised but pleased to have won and my prize will help me be a better photographer."

Tuppence Stevens-Lewis, Art and Photography teacher at Trinity School: “I am very proud that our pupils did so well! This competition is a brilliant opportunity for our students to gain exposure for their work and to start to think artistically and professionally about their photographic practice.”
