Trinity School of John Whitgift is an independent day school for boys, located in Shirley, Croydon. The school educates approximately 900 boys between the ages of 10 and 19 years.

Trinity has an excellent reputation for combining an intellectually rigorous and challenging academic environment with outstanding pastoral care and support. Our approach provides a positive and friendly atmosphere in which the boys thrive, not simply by achieving excellent examination results, but also by developing a wide range of interests and skills outside the classroom. The extra-curricular provision is "outstanding in range and quality" and includes "exceptionally rich and extensive" musical opportunities (2008 inspection report).

The School has a worldwide reputation for music, and also successfully nurtures sporting talent, with a number of pupils selected to compete at international level.

We are fortunate to have superb facilities and, more importantly, excellent teachers and support staff all committed to offering a balanced, all-round education. The Inspection report concludes, "Trinity School is a caring and supportive environment which provides exceptional opportunities for boys. The quality of teaching enables them to excel in many areas as they develop intellectual curiosity and independence of mind, concern and respect for others, a sense of compassion and high standards in a wide range of interests."
