Sweeney Todd makes chilling appearance at Whitgift School in joint performance with Old Palace School.
His skin was pale and his eye was odd, and he’s London’s most famous hairdresser, Sweeney Todd. The demon barber of Fleet Street will be making an appearance at Whitgift School on Wednesday 2 – Saturday 5 March from 7:30pm. This chilling piece of musical theatre explores the story of Benjamin Barker – better known as Sweeney Todd – as he descends into a world of lies, murder and mayhem, in partnership with the irrepressible, pie-selling Mrs Lovett. Whitgift Drama is proud to present this exciting production, in collaboration with Old Palace of John Whitgift School and students from the Whitgift Academy of Visual and Performing Arts, who are here with kind permission from Croydon High School, as our talented Upper School actors bring Victorian London to life.
