One of the primary aims of The Whitgift Foundation is to provide education for young people in Croydon.
To do this, we assist families with their children’s school fees in two ways: through bursaries, which subsidise fees by meeting the financial criteria and performing in the top of academic assessments; and scholarships, which subsidise fees of students who are particularly gifted in a specific area. It is possible for a student to be awarded a bursary and a scholarship.
The Whitgift Foundation currently gives financial support to 47% of students, totalling more than £5 million a year, at our three schools; Trinity, Whitgift and Old Palace of John Whitgift. Because of this our schools offer a strong inclusive culture, educating young people from many backgrounds and many walks of life.
In this section of our website you can find out more about how we help with fees and how to apply for bursaries and scholarships, as well as reading about students who have benefited from financial assistance in our Case Studies section.
