Trinity student secures second role in West End production School of Rock.
Following on from his casting as Freddy the Drummer, First Year student Jasper Bew has now been cast as Zack, the lead guitarist, in hit musical School of Rock.
Jasper was first cast in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s award-winning show in December 2017, and now is the only child to secure two starring roles.
He is one of our music and drama scholars, playing the violin, guitar and piano, as well as singing. The new cast was announced last week as the show celebrates 1,000 West End performances, and Jasper is very excited to begin his next role.
Based on the hit film starring Jack Black, School of Rock follows Dewey Finn, a failed, wannabe rock star who decides to earn a few extra bucks by posing as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school.
Jasper has clearly made an impact on the show; we wish him the very best of luck as he progresses to his next role!
